ABOUT AMY
Amy Firth is an Interfaith Minister, celebrant and deathcare worker based in the Blue Mountains, where she is devoted to creating sacred, inclusive spaces that honour the full spectrum of human experience. With over two decades of experience in the arts and a deep grounding in spiritual practice, Amy weaves creativity, compassion and presence into every aspect of her work.
She hosts the monthly Blue Mountains Death Café, gently guiding conversations about mortality, meaning and the ways we stay connected to those we love. She is also the founder of Grief In Motion, a series of creative workshops that welcome people to engage with their grief through story, song, ritual and collaborative artmaking alongside local Blue Mountains creatives.
Drawing on her ordination with the One Spirit Interfaith Foundation, her background in theatre and music, and own bereavements, Amy specialises in ceremonies that honour life’s thresholds - from funerals and memorials to bespoke rituals of remembrance and transition. Passionate about connection and collective healing, she continues to cultivate spaces where people feel seen, supported and empowered to meet their grief with tenderness, creativity and courage.
