”IN THEIR NAME, IN THEIR HONOUR - LOVE YOURSELF, AS THEY LOVED YOU.”
- Donna Ashworth
This 5 minute reset is part meditation / part pep talk.
It opens with my favourite Donna Ashworth poem, inviting us to honour our person by embracing and remembering their love. It completes with a few minutes of gently resting in the loving presence of your person, reconnecting with the love that lives inside our grief.
Inviting that love to be fully present - right alongside the heartbreak.
We can hold it all.
I hope this little pep talk meditation helps you feel less alone, more connected and grounds you in the love of your person. You’re welcome to simply watch along with the video above or download the audio below.
ON THOSE DAYS
By Donna Ashworth
On those days,
when you miss someone the most,
as though your memories,
are sharp enough,
to slice through skin and bone,
remember how they loved you.
Remember how they loved you,
and do that,
for yourself.
In their name,
in their honour.
Love yourself,
as they loved you.
They would like that.
On those days when you miss someone the most,
love yourself harder.
