Meet Amy
Interfaith minister, funeral director, celebrant & ceremony designer
Amy Firth is an interfaith minister, funeral director, celebrant and ceremony designer based on Dharug & Gundungurra Country in the beautiful Blue Mountains. For more than a decade she has worked alongside hundreds of families navigating funerals, weddings and life’s most profound thresholds.
Ordained in 2016 with the OneSpirit Interfaith Foundation in London and grounded in a background in theatre, music and the arts, Amy brings creativity, spiritual depth and practical wisdom to the ceremonies she designs and the practitioners she teaches. Her work sits at the intersection of community ritual, grief literacy and experience design.
Amy is passionate about returning ceremony to the people who need it most, while also helping death care professionals grow their confidence, creativity and visibility. Through her courses she shares the tools, language and frameworks she has developed through years of practice, guiding both families and practitioners to hold meaningful ceremonies with care, courage and authenticity.
