I'm delighted to be part of Australia's first Death Doula Conference, Roots & Wings, hosted by the wonderful Denise Love.
This gathering brings together death doulas, celebrants, funeral directors, grief practitioners and anyone passionate about creating more compassionate, community-led approaches to dying, death and grief. Across two days of conversations, presentations and connection, we'll explore what it means to support people well at the end of life - and how we can grow this movement together.
I'll be sharing about The Visible Death Worker community and how death literacy advocacy is our strongest from of advertising. I'd love to see you there.
Whether you're already working in end-of-life care or simply feel called to this work, it's shaping up to be a generous, inspiring weekend of learning and connection.
